At Holy Family, our life together is rooted in the simple—but profound—truth: Jesus loves us. As the old priest in the story once said, “The most important thing I have learned in Christianity I learned when I was five years old in Sunday School: ‘Jesus loves me, this I know for the Bible tells me so.’”

That one sentence reminds us that faith isn’t just for scholars or theologians—it’s for each of us, in the everyday. It invites us into a relationship with God, a community of love, and a way of life shaped by hope.

Worship & Fellowship

We gather every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for the Eucharist (and remember: there’s coffee hour afterwards—come join us!).

Upcoming services and worship teams are listed in our newsletter, and the rhythm of worship grounds us in the presence of God and the family of faith. Mailchimp

Learning & Growing

Our next “God Talk — The Heart of Discipleship” session invites us to ask deeper questions:

  • What does discipleship look like beyond Sunday morning?
  • How do we listen for God in the midst of the noise of daily life?
  • Why is following Jesus less about accumulating information and more about being transformed?

Whether you’ve grown up in church or you’re just exploring faith, this is a place to ask the big questions—and to find a community walking alongside you.

Serving Our Neighbors

Being part of Holy Family means living our faith in action. Right now, we have a few important opportunities:

  • Volunteers are needed for the Vestry and other leadership roles ahead of our Annual Parish Meeting in January. Your gifts, presence, and voice matter.
  • Our Outreach ministry is in need: non-food necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo) for our monthly distributions.
  • The Laurel Springs Elementary School is in urgent need of Band-Aids and disposable gloves. If you are able, please bring your donation this Sunday.
  • Our Mitten Tree Collection is underway: new hats, scarves, mittens, gloves and socks, to support local children and neighbors this winter.

Upcoming Events

  • Saturday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. — Messy Church “Messy Manger” Edition: live animals, crafts, fun for the whole family. Mailchimp
  • Friday, December 5 at noon — First Friday Free Community Lunch: all are welcome — bring a friend or just bring yourself. Mailchimp

Stay Connected

We’ll continue to share more reflections, invitations, and updates in our newsletter. Please follow along — and feel free to invite someone you know who might be looking for a spiritual home or a community of faith.

In closing:
If there’s one thing we want you to remember, it’s this: behind all the events, all the service projects, all the Sunday gatherings, lies this simple truth — God loves you, and this community is here to live out that love together. We hope you’ll join us, whether this week or next. Come as you are. Be part of God’s growing family.
